Clara Moroni - Eurobeat is THIS Cool

OMG! Is this... true? O_O

OK, for those of you who really know me... is this FACT or CRAP?

It's your call...Collapse )

Another Fun Day at Work... -___-

Work Blues...Collapse )

After work was over today, Mom asked me to drive to Wal*Mart and pick up some prescriptions. So yeah, I went to get the prescriptions, but while I was there, I also looked around at some stuff. I found a really nifty purple and black Pirates of the Caribbean bag for $10. And OMG, my dinky little un-diverse hometown may FINALLY be getting some CULTURE! I found a 12 Girls Band CD somewhere in the CD section, definitely not where it was supposed to be because it was somewhere in the U's or V's. Knowing that great Asian music (let alone ANY AT ALL) is a VERY RARE find in my uncultured town, I JUST HAD TO GET IT! If you really like traditional Asian music or any kind of world music for that matter, then you'd like the 12 Girls Band. In case you don't know, the 12 Girls Band is a Chinese group that consists of 13 girls. Yes, they're called the 12 Girls Band, yet they have 13 members. Weird, ne? But yeah, their music's great! You should try it out. ^^

Tunes

W00H00! Fun music survey from jiro_no_jojo17's journal! :D

List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good but they must be songs you're really enjoying now.
→ Post these instructions in your Live Journal along with your seven songs.
→ Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

Don't hate on me now lol.

1) "Peace" by BeForU - hey, with BeForU, how can you possibly go wrong? They have always come out with really great, high-energy tunes, and "Peace" is no exception! This is a really great Japanese group to listen to if you're new to J-Pop - I speak this from personal experience. The first Japanese song I ever heard was by BeForU... ok, the songs from Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon do NOT count in my opinion, even though they are sung in Japanese - I was a goofy little kid who didn't know Japanese from Spanish back when I played this game!

2) "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai - I've always loved this song. That and Jamiroquai always has really funky songs to dance to.

3) "Halloween" by Aqua - YES, the group who performed "Barbie Girl" and "Cartoon Heroes" (of DDR fame). This song makes a kick-ass additon to any Halloween party playlist. XD

4) "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer - old skool... what more can I say? XDDD

5) "Super Striker" by GO 2 - this one of if not THE ULTIMATE of Eurobeat songs! Fast tempo, great tune, and all-around danceability.

6) "Your Air Freshener Smells Like Crap" - oh, the things you learn from Whose Line is it Anyway... Wayne and Jeff are geniuses to be able to make a cab driver-related punk rock song out of a title like that!

7) "In the Heat of the Night" by E-Rotic - another great DDR song. Actually, this could be a pretty good theme song for Teru and me! :D Heck, I say that about a lot of songs, but this one takes the cake as far as TeruxMasa songs.

BONUS

8) "Dive" by BeForU - Yep, more BeForU. Y'know the "first Japanese song" I mentioned earlier? This is it! This is my signature DDR song.

... DAMN IT! I lost the game...

Agents are... GO!

Good news! For the last couple weeks, I've been looking in Terre Haute's pawn shops to try and find a good deal on a Nintendo DS, and yesterday I got one!

OMG It was a kick-ass deal - only $50 and still in pretty good shape. It didn't have a charger with it, but no worries. I have the charger that came with my Gameboy Advance SP. ^^ Then I went to Wal*Mart to search out a good game to start out with (didn't want to be stuck playing only old games on a new system), and I got Elite Beat Agents. Hahaha I think I have a new favorite game now. That game has some really good tunes and the whole premise of the game is just totally cool! And OMG the Japan level is set to one of my favorite songs ("Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai)! BOOYAH! XD

Last night, my cousin and I got tiki torches and set them up around the trampoline out by the garage. We hopped and listened to tunes for a few hours, and we camped out for the night on sleeping bags. Camping out on a trampoline is so much fun, and you don't have to worry about bugs and things crawling all over you.

Meh, that's all for now! ^^ Cyaz laterz!

Art Spam Time!

Harhar... don't mind the random notes on some of these. An artist has to write notes about his/her characters down, yo! Ok, Miki's guarding some math equations and shit, but yeah... anyway, onto the art, as promised! :D

Here comes the art!Collapse )

Terumichi or Takeru... Who will win?

OK, the poll from the last post is being called off. dokuhacker and I were chatting on deviantART's UnseenArtists chat, and we decided on two names that would work for the new mascot. Terumichi was already winning the original poll, but Takeru was also thrown into the mix as a last-minute candidate. So... here comes the eternal question.

TERUMICHI... OR TAKERU?

I'm finally getting somewhere! W00T!

Y'know how I've been talking a lot about the YSS project lately? Well, I've come up with a mascot! I'll have to get the picture I drew scanned so I can show you all because he is so frickin' adorable! Now, the problem is...

I've gotta come up with a name.

P0LL, D4MM1T!Collapse )

After I tackle this, I shall come up with more stuff to "publish". Some of my current brain-children are as follows:

1. Original fic involving the mascot and some other original characters, and maybe even some real-life people willing to lend themselves to the project.
2. Glay "Big Brother"-style fanfic
3. Dynasty Warriors 5 "Big Brother"-style fanfic (hoo boy, this might get ugly! XDDD)
4. Art, of course
5. Glay or Dynasty Warriors 5 "insanity/randomness" script fic
6. Dynasty Warriors 5 "family reunion" fics for characters with very common family names (Xiahou and Liu, for example)
7. TeruxMasaki fanfic based on the "Mermaid" RP on Toki no Shizuku (I thank rock_fox9 for this one :D ).

Which one(s) of these I actually carry out depends on what kind of inspiration I get, what I'm in the mood for, etc.

Insert Nifty Title Here... I'm feeling a little blank and unimaginitive right now.

Today was another interesting day at work. I began learning a whole lot of new stuff I never thought I would have to do. On top of making labels, slapping them on boxes, and adding up shipping costs, I'm now doing returns, emails, daily reports, and shipping logs! O___O Bleeeh... how can I ever remember all of this stuff?

On to stuff that's happier than job-related flipping out... I've finally found some tutorials for coloring lineart in GIMP! W00T! Now I can get to coloring some of the pictures I've been wanting to color since forever. And I'm a bit more motivated to create some new art now. ^^

Speaking of art, I'm going to start working on the YUME SUPERNOVA Studios project now. However, before I can actually declare it open to the viewing public, I'm going to have to lay out some... ah, "groundwork". Yeah, that means coming up with cute, cuddly mascots, constructing a preferably free website, and formulating some projects to do for it. Anyone got any ideas? Also, I would really love to either find or learn to make a nice layout for it. Drag-and-drop site creators are nice because HTML knowledge is not necessary and I have really lost my HTML skills (well, everything except the basic of basic stuff) since my 8th grade Technology class, but I really hate the boring and bland look that I always get with on drag-and-drop creators.

To anyone who cares... maily people who contact me by email.Collapse )
